I believe that I started the 'Campaign Mode' by accidentally selecting a sniper rifle as my secondary weapon, how can I change this to a shotgun?

Cannot figure out how to de-select and select a shotgun, is this possible?

Huh? You have too buy the snipers way later and theyre crazy expensive. No way you just started out with one. Should have a revolver and the saw off. Scroll to whatever gun you want, that you own, and press the select button.
