Which weapons should you focus on in Zombeast? There are different varieties available, and you’ll want to save as much resources as you can since they’re used to upgrade the weapons themselves right. In this guide, we’ll help you by discussing the different weapon types that are available in the game, as well as how to unlock them.

Since there are different weapons providing different stats, focusing on your main weapons will be essential in order for you to progress in the game. Zombies have different weaknesses, so having weapons upgraded from each type can help you out in your game!

Weapons Interface

In Zombeast, you have one interface where you can choose your weapon before going to the campaign. You can bring a maximum of two weapons, and they are shown as icons on the upper area of the screen. Clicking the Selected checkbox lets you assign which weapons you want, and you’ll go to the campaign mode on the lower right to continue.

Weapon stats can be seen on the lower left side just above the menu button. This can provide you with information such as ammo capacity, damage, and more. The weapon type will determine which areas they excel in such as machineguns which have a high fire rate. Opposite to the weapon stats, you’ll find the upgrade button which will let you upgrade your weapon rating in order to improve its stats.

Weapon Types

With the different types of weapons available in the game, you might wonder what purpose they have? There are a variety of Zombies that you can read upon in the Bestiary, and you’ll notice that their weaknesses are found there. If you’re in a mission with a specific type of enemy, you’ll want to prepare yourself by bringing the proper type of weapon in order to make the kills faster right? Here are the variety of weapon types as well as their functions:

Handgun: This can include a single handgun, or a dual handgun. They provide a balance of damage, ammo, fire rate, as well as ammo capacity. It’s considered as your main go-to weapon since it can damage almost all enemies in the game.

Shotgun: This is a gun that has a high attack power, and it has spread damage as well. However, in order to maximize the potential of this weapon, you’ll need to be in a close distance to them. Some enemies in the game can resist shotguns as well, but there are also those who are weak to it.

Machinegun: This includes single and dual machineguns, they provide you with a high ammo capacity, as well as fire rate. Their damage is not the best per hit, but it all adds up thanks to its rate of fire. It’s great for taking down multiple enemies in succession.

Sniper Gun: This lets you shoot enemies from a far distance and they have high attack power. Some enemies in the game are very strong and can get to you up close and hurt you, so being able to take them down from afar is the purpose of sniper guns.

Melee: These are weapons that you can swing around in order to kill opponents such as a Katana. They have high damage, but also have the lowest range. It’s good for clearing weaker types of enemies in one strike.

A lot of enemies can easily be defeated with the default weapons, and you might have difficulties on later missions.

Based on the unlock list that you have seen above, you can check each weapon type and choose which one is affordable for you.
