Is Zombeast an On-Rails Shooter?

When the game first released, Zombeast was somewhat an on-rails shooter. You can only control your movement to the left and right, while your character automatically moves forward. However, in the later updates, a manual control for movement as well as aiming has been implemented.


How many missions are there in the campaign?

Missions in the campaign are added through updates. As of December 15, 2020, there are 170 missions available in the game. Later missions can get more challenging and you’ll want to have better weapon upgrades and skills.


What are mission objectives?

In each mission, there are three tasks that you need to complete in order to get a star rating. This will provide you with bonus rewards at the end of a mission if you successfully complete them. The objectives can include using specific weapons, defeating a specific zombie number, using specific weapons, getting double kills, covering certain distances, and more. With 170 missions in the game, you’ll get different task combinations available.


Is there multi-player content?

Zombeast is a single player campaign game that lets you defeat hordes of zombies as you go through a mission’s stage. The only multi-player aspect that can be found is through the game’s Endless Mode where you can rank up depending on the number of zombies that you kill, and you get to compete your rank scores versus other players through a ranking board.


How many weapons can I bring in a mission?

Even if there are different weapon types available in this game, you only have a maximum of two choices that you can bring before a mission. It’s better to bring two weapons that provide the most coverage versus the opponents that you have ahead of you, you can check the game’s Bestiary to see their weaknesses.


Is the VIP bonus a service?

The VIP Bonus at the Base is a one-time purchase. This disables Ads, and lets you get increased coins, gems, and EXP. The service that required reapplying is the Premium service that is provided for 7 days.


Can this game be played offline?

Yes, the game can be played offline, however you won’t be able to get double rewards through Ads since those won’t work when the game is offline. You won’t be able to upload rankings as well if you end up playing endless mode.


Are there other modes aside from the campaign?

You can unlock Daily Quests, Endless Mode, and check the Extra Modes through the campaign. They provide you with unique mechanics such as changing stats for your character, zombies, and weapon choices, as well as increased challenges.


Can you refund the money you used from upgrading weapons?

No, weapon upgrades are permanent and it will increase the star rating of your weapon. This is why knowing which weapon type you’ll use as your main weapons is handy. You’ll want to focus on owning specific main weapons spending your resources upgrading those. You can check our Weapons Guide for more information as well.


Can you get infinite energy?

If you plan to play the campaign mode a lot, you will want to check the Offers section of the shop. There, you’ll find an infinite energy package offer that includes gems as well for a certain price. This will come in handy if you don’t want to be restricted with the energy requirements of the game.
