Hope - Room 2

Having escaped the first room you are now in a corridor with a few other rooms to explore.

Corridor

To the left is a locked cupboard with a rusty padlock.

Immediately in front is a pile of furniture blocking the way. Tap on this pile to investigate and notice the small white table upside down to the left. Tap on this top open the draw and collect the paper that falls out. Go back to the corridor.

Tap to the right to view the corridor to the right. On the wall to the right is a white box. Tap to open this and collect all of the keys inside.

Check the chalk board that it hanging on the left wall half way down. On it is written a number, or clues to a number depending on the game version. Remember this.

Return to the corridor, try selecting each of the keys you have collected to use to open the left door to room 805. One of them will do the trick and the other keys will disappear.

The desk to the left we can't open yet.

To on the small nightstand cupboard by the bed. The draw has a code lock which should open with the number acquired above on the chalkboard. Collect the second piece of paper from the draw.

Tap on the book case on the right of the bed. Then tap to collect the drill battery pack from the shelf for later use.

Tap the right arrow to view the other are of the room and tak the right picture on the wall to move it and find a button to tap on.

On the counter top is a drill bit to collect.

Return to the main room area and tap on the book cas to the left of the room. Several of the green books can be tapped on to move them. Once you tap them with the correct sequence you will get a message that 'Something Happened...'.

Back out and return to the right hand are of the room and a panel c=should now be open on the lower unit revealing a swipe card.

Back to the corridor. You can now use the card to open the door to the right.

Open this door and you will find yourself in a medical room. Investigate the surgical table to find a key amongst the surgical instruments.

Behind the poster on the wall is a safe but we cannot open this yet.

Investigate the top section of the large unit on the left wall to find a lot of medical supplies that we don't need but also a third piece of paper to collect.

In the lower section are 3 draws. The top draw contains a door handle to collect. The lower one is locked with a mathematical equation. Change the operators / symbols in the equation to make it correct and the draw will open allowing you to collect another swipe card from inside.

Return to the corridor and tap on the small cupboard to investigate it. Use the door handle from your inventory on the lower cupboard door and open it to find the fourth sheet of paper.

You now have 4 pieces of paper with blocks of patterns on them. Return to the bed room and tap on the desk.

The 3 small draws are empty but tap on the long draw and you will see a puzzle with 4 pattern sections. You need to copy the patterns from the 4 pieces of paper here in the right order.

Hint: The papers appear to be torn from a single piece and have better defined corners to show where they should be positioned.

Hint 2: The greyed boxes are the ones that should be taped to turn on the green lights.

Once the correct sequence is in you can tap the open button and the draw will open to reveal another switch to press.

Return to the right hand side of the room where the TV is now on. You can tap this to watch a spooky cutscene to ramp up the atmosphere.

In the upper cupboard are a panel has now opened to reveal a can of oil. Collect this.

Now back out into the corridor, and back to the starting point. You need to access the large cupboard on the left that has the rusty lock. First use the oil can and then the key from your inventory to open it. Inside you will find a step ladder to collect.

Return to the corridor on the right and select the step ladder and tap at the end of the corridor to the left of the door to place it there. Tap on the ladder now to climb it and access the vent in the corner. Tap the vent to open is and again to climb through.

You are now in a another corridor area with an elevator. Use the swipe card from your inventory to open the elevator doors. Inside you will find a piece of paper on the floor to collect.

Use the down arrow to go back until you reach the corridor with the room doors and enter the medical room on the right. Take down the poster on the wall if you haven't yet done so and tap the safe to investigate it. The piece of paper that you found is the clue to solving the safe lock puzzle.

The piece of paper shows the correct symbols for each button in the puzzle however some of the diagrams are rotated.

The top left diagram with the red arrow is the correct way up. In each other diagram the red box corresponds to the one on the top left layout. (the red box is always the top middle button on the puzzle). Use this map to set the correct symbols and the safe will open. Inside is a drill body. Collect this and combine it with the battery and drill bit in the inventory to make a working drill.

Finally back to the corridor and use the ladder to get to the elevator again. Inside the elevator use the drill on the panel to open it and allow you to activate the elevator and leave this level.
