Lord of Heroes Guide

Last Updated:

In Lord of Heroes, you get to play as the Lord of Avillon, and you will want to revolutionize the world. In order to do so, you will have to ally or occupy all regions near you in order for them to follow your rule. The game’s story will progress as you complete different stages in the world section that you can access from the Citadel.

In this page, we’ll be checking the different features that you can expect as you spread your influence. There will be a lot of things you can uncover since this will tie to the game’s story. So, let us check what is in store in the different regions.

How the World Map works

When starting the game for the first time, you’ll be travelling to Nibelon Woodlands from Avillon. This will start your process of occupying and allying different regions in the game. Places that can’t be allied will require you to fully occupy them.

There are different stages for each region in the game, and you will get to fight a Boss at the very end. Clearing stages will involve fighting enemies of different waves, and their power increases as you get to later regions. You can scroll through the map if you wish, and you will notice that there are a lot of locations.

As you progress through the story, the regions on the very east side of the map will be occupied by Gallus. Therefore, once you reach near the end of the map, you will have a total of 8 regions that you can complete. Clearing stages provides you with first-time rewards, and you can also get a crystal reward for getting 3-stars on a stage.

Occupying and Allying regions

Clearing all stages in a region and defeating the boss will let you occupy that specific region. You can then progress through the game’s story and then visit other places. As part of the story, you will be given the option if you want to ally or occupy an area (though you can just try to ally all the time, but you will still need to occupy when needed).

Aside from unlocking more regions as you progress with the game, you will also be able to unlock different world map features. You can check our Unlockables guide for more information. Here is the list of what you can expect:

  • Expeditions

  • Primeval Halls

  • Coliseum

  • Calamity’s Cradle

  • Dakkeon Training Grounds

  • The Obelisk

  • Difficulty Settings

When checking the different menu options in the World Map, you’ll notice that there is a difficulty button. Progressing through the game will mean that you will have increasing power, so you might want to have a challenge so this is an added feature.

Aside from the game’s normal mode, you will be able to unlock Hard as well as Extreme modes. However, you can only gain access to the other modes after clearing all regions in the previous difficulty. This means that you will need to finish until the last region’s boss.

    Region List

As you progress through the game’s story and occupy more regions, the Gallus Empire located at the very east will be occupying the different areas near their location. The list below will provide you with all of the places you can visit and have stages to complete.
