In Lord of Heroes, playing through the game’s story will involve exploring the different regions in the game. As the Lord of Avillon, you will need to occupy or ally the neighboring areas in order to expand your influence. Not only will you go through different battles in these regions, but you’ll also be able to unlock different features on the map.

One of the features you can unlock is The Obelisk. If you have completed the game on higher difficulty levels, then you might want to clear a mode that provides you with the most challenge. In this page, we will be checking how this end-game feature works.

What is the Obelisk?

The Obelisk is a feature that you’ll only be able to access upon completing stage 8-16 on Hard mode. This means that the Obelisk will provide you with one of the hardest battles in the game, and your end-game teams will be used in order to complete challenges.

The Obelisk is a place where you can clear different floors starting from Floor 1, and you’ll work your way up in order to reach the top floor that is available. The enemies that you will fight here are unlike any you have seen before, since they have considerable power levels and strong skills and resistances.

Entering an Obelisk floor will require you to use Sigils of Bravery x1, this is an item that will restore over time and you can get one for every hour that passes by. If you want to be able to deal as much damage as you can, you will want to have a good amount of debuffs capable to help you out.

There is a boss on every 5th floor on the stage which will be immune to effects that will stop them from moving such as stun. They also get an increase in their action gauge after a certain number of hits, so this provides more difficulty.

Obelisk Challenges

Each floor has three challenges that you will need to complete. This will be represented as Bronze, Silver, and Gold. If you want to get all of the rewards, you will need to get at least a Gold rating. Here are the conditions for these challenges:

Bronze: Complete the specified challenges.

Silver: Complete the specified challenges for Bronze and Silver in the same battle.

Gold: Complete all challenges in the same battle.

Challenges will vary per floor (credit: Lord of Heroes blog)

The challenges you will get will be provided to you when battling, and they can range from different types such as “Wint the Battle”, “Win with X or fewer fallen heroes”, “Win within X turns” and more. This provides you with a variety of ways in order to try and complete any given floor. Every month, the challenges can change for every floor as well, including the enemies and bosses.

Obelisk Rewards

Once you have completed a battle, your reward will be based if you complete Bronze, Silver, and Gold. There’s a reward for each rating you have completed, and the items that you can get will vary. You can get EXP Elixirs, Renown, Gold, Crystals, and more.

The rewards vary from every floor as well, and the number that you will get will increase. Not only that, but the EXP you can gain from completing these battles are very high, so if you have a hero that isn’t fully maxed out, you can perhaps add them to your team to get EXP benefits.

Rewards will vary as you progress, but better rewards are obtained at higher floors

Completing the final floor will give you the chance to get the title of the Grand Conqueror as well. This will only open if you get Gold ratings for every floor that you have completed before, you will get a ranking as well which will be shown. If you are competitive, then you can complete the floors here as a personal challenge.
