In Lord of Heroes, playing through the game’s story will involve exploring the different regions in the game. As the Lord of Avillon, you will need to occupy or ally the neighboring areas in order to expand your influence. Not only will you go through different battles in these regions, but you’ll also be able to unlock different features on the map.

One of the features you can unlock is Calamity’s Cradle. One of the activities that you can do within your alliance is to perform raid boss battles, and this is done with this feature. In this page, we’ll check what benefits you can get from participating in Raids.

What is Calamity’s Cradle?

In the game’s story, you get to occupy different regions in order to expand your influence. Fully occupying Varhya will provide you with access to a place called the Calamity’s Cradle. This place will be tied to the Alliance feature, because you will get to fight Primordial Beasts as Raid Bosses.

A raid battle works by sending out a team of heroes to fight until they are defeated. This means that your contribution to the alliance will be dependent on how much damage you have dealt to the boss. Take note that your enemy cannot be defeated, so you will want to deal strong blows as you can.

You can get up to two raid attempts within a given day, this will show as the burning blue icon. Once all attempts have been used up, you will wait for the next day and continue to the next raid. The element of the Raid Boss will have a schedule as well, you can tap on the “?” icon on the upper left to see the raid boss elements.

Composing your team

When sending out your team, you can create up to two squads which are composed of five members each. This can include a combination of your heroes, as well as up to three support heroes per squad. Support heroes let you borrow heroes at level 50 for combat.

If you don’t have characters that are maxed yet, you can put up to two of your strongest heroes per squad and then use three supports. This way, you’ll be able to participate Raid up to two times in order for you to max out your attempts and rewards.

Raid Rewards

A raid ends whenever all of your squads have been defeated by the Raid Boss. You will then be provided a ranking based on the damage you have dealt. The rewards may vary depending on your ranking, but you can be provided with the following items:

  • Elixirs of Insight, Equipment, Gold, Promotional Agates, Renown, Alliance Credits

As you may know, Alliance Credits are needed for their specific shop which can provide you with a lot of useful items. Your team’s efforts will also be counted since there are raid rewards provided weekly to your mail. This will provide you with Alliance Credits and Crystals

Doing your part in Raid will not only help yourself in your progression, but you’ll also help out the members in your alliance as well. Try to do your Raid Boss runs each day, and you will be able to build up on the materials that you’ll be getting.
