Can you determine which direction a rocket will fly, vertically or horizontally? If so, how
No you can't tell before they appear. They are placed randomly. You then see the direction that it will fire once you set it off. If you don't like the direction then you can try to generate another rocket next to the first one. If 2 are next to each other then when you fire one it will fire in both directions.
How can I choose which way a rocket goes?
Unfortunately with a single rocket you can't. If you combine it with another it will go both ways.

I've play this game for years it's enjoyable and relaxing, I felt a bit silly when first got into it as thought it was just for kids, but there's alot of old school jokes that makes it relatable to adults. The graphics are great.
