Hidden Escape: Murder Mystery Chapter 3 - Sail Me Away Walkthrough

This is our walkthrough for Chapter 3 - Sail Me Away of Hidden Escape: Murder Mystery. A puzzle adventure game from Vincell Studios. Set around a Cruise ship reality show where you will need to find objects and solve puzzles.

In Chapter 3 you play as Mallory again during your first day on the cruise for Sail Me Away, the Reality TV show.

Chapter 3 - Sail Me Away Walkthrough

After the initial conversation tap the walkway to the left of the ship to move to the entrance.

Now tap on the Trolley Bot by the door to activate it. It will take your bags, but first you need to solve the puzzle on the screen.

Bot Puzzle

There are 4 images that match the 4 posters around the entrance.

Look at each poster and get a number from it.

E.g. Bowling Pin - poster has 3 pins.

Solution:

Now you need your phone to scan the ticket. Tap on the brown handbag on the floor. You will see another puzzle.

Handbag Puzzle

Rotate the rings to complete the image with the writing.

You will get the phone. Now use it on the trolley bot.

Next collect the luggage from the red carpet and then add it to the Trolley. It will open the door and take your bags inside.

Go through the doors and you will start to use the Map on your phone to help you find your way.

Map Puzzle

Tap the green arrows on the floor to choose your direction.

Follow your progress on the Phone screen. You need to reach the open gap at the top of the map.

Solution:

First open the door and go inside. You will have a conversation with Ava.

Cabin

Tap the lamp on the bedside drawer to move it, you can then collect a 'Swiss Knife'.

Then use this knife on the present box on the bed to open it. Tap the box to view the puzzle on top.

Box Puzzle

Tap pairs to swap them around

Rearrange the pieces to complete the picture.

Collect from the box an Invitation Letter and an Access Card

Now use the access card on the door on the left.

Access Card Puzzle

• You need to set the symbols on the combination to open the door.
• At the top are 3 images that you have seen in the box puzzle above.
• Check the box lid again to find 4 symbols associated with the 4 images.

Enter the Dressing Room

Dressing Room

Your next task is to get your luggage, but you need a key for that. Tap on the small green box by the purple chair. This has another puzzle.

Box Puzzle

• The puzzle has 2 sides, a Female face on the left and a Male face on the right. You can tap these to move the items around them.
• Use the arrows button to swap the 2 items in the center.
• You need to move all of the Stereotypical 'Male' icons to the right, and similarly the 'Female' items to the left.

Solution:

You will collect a Stone Pin.

Back out to the main cabin room. Then add the Stone pin to the yellow fronted box below the window seat. This opens another puzzle.

Yellow Chest Puzzle

• To solve this you need to move the stone pin from the left to the bottom right.
• Move the blocks around the board to left you slide the pin around.
• You cannot make a single path so you need to move the pin as you go to get to the end.

With the box open you can collect a Handbag and a key.

Now back out to the hallway again and use the key on the Trolley Bot to collect your bags. Then go back through to the dressing room and place the bags on the Purple chair and then also the handbag on the empty shelf above the drawers.

Now tap on the suitcase to open it, and collect a dress from inside. Tap the dress in your inventory and then add it to the clothes rail on the left.

Next tap on the mirror to start a dressing puzzle.

Dressing Puzzle

You can try different outfits and accessories to get feed back on your choices.

Outfit solution:

Light blue dress, Pink handbag, grey shoes.

Face Solution:

With your outfit selected you can now exit to the hallway again, then tap on the elevator to open it. This completes Chapter 3.
