Call of Antia Beginner's Guide (Part 2)
Call of Antia: Match 3 RPG Guide
Playing through Call of Antia will let you go through different battles in the game’s campaign story, and with this you’ll also be unlocking different features that will be part of your gameplay. You’ll want to know how to become stronger as well, so checking your unlockables will help you learn more about how to progress.
Welcome Part 2 of our Beginner’s Guide, here we’ll be checking the other features of the game that you’ll be checking often in order for you to become stronger, as well as to claim various resources. Let’s check what activities you can do in order to have your own personal daily routine.
Learn about Dragons
Once you have reached Chapter 2 of the game’s campaign, you’ll learn about the importance of Dragons. You’ve been able to use a dragon at the start of the game’s tutorial wherein they can come in and use their skill in order to help in battle. Completing Chapter 2 will let you acquire your first Dragon called the Ancient Dragon and you’ll unlock the Dragon Nest in your home.
Dragons can be summoned in the game and they can use their skills to aid in battle. For example, the Ancient Dragon has the Holy Light skill which damages all enemies and provides a shield to all allies which will help in keeping your team alive. You’ll be able to acquire more Dragons in the game’s campaign, and the rest will need to be unlocked by combining their respective shards.
Feed your Dragons
One of the features of the Dragons that you can acquire lets you feed them in order to make them stronger. When acquiring a Dragon for the first time, they’ll come at a specific base power and having their skill at level 1. Feeding them will require Raw Meat as well as Gold as payment. This will increase their power and skill level.
You’ll be able to obtain more Raw Meat through completing Hero’s Quests which can be done through your House at the Home section of the game. Raw Meat may be hard to come by as well, so choose which dragons you’ll feed wisely.
Ascend your Heroes
Each Hero that you can acquire in Call of Antia will start at level 1, and they’ll reach a certain level cap. Unlocking these level caps can be done through a process called Ascension, and this will require you to use Ascension Materials. When starting out, you will need to ascend your first cap of level 10, and then it will happen again on levels 30, 60, 90, 120, and 150.
Ascension Materials can be acquired through the game’s shop as well as treasure chests. If you have a specific hero in mind that you’d like to use in your main team, tap on the ascension material in order for you to get information on how to acquire their materials. Later on in the game, you’ll definitely want higher leveled characters.
Build your House and Camp
When checking out your home, you can view around the map and find that there are empty plots that you can build different facilities in. When starting out, you’ll want to build your House as well as your Camp since they provide you with useful features.
The House will let you send out your Heroes on quests by dispatching them. Once they return, they’ll provide you with different items and materials that will be useful for your journey. This is also one of the ways you can get raw meat in order to feed your dragons.
The Camp on the other hand will let you earn resources in the form of EXP Potions. Aside from farming EXP Potions in the game’s campaign, the Camp will let you acquire them as time goes by, similar to the mines that provide gold and the quarry providing stones.
Upgrade your Castle
The facilities on your home will all depend on the Castle that governs them. Your Castle is a facility that you can upgrade using resources. This will also determine the maximum level that the other facilities in your home can be upgraded to.
Once you have reached level 4 for your Castle, you’ll also be able to acquire more areas of land which can let you build more types of facilities. From there moving forward, you can focus on completing your campaign stages, unlock new content, as well as improve your home to provide you with the best amenities.
