When checking the Blacksmith out, you can forge equipment using Forge Stones. You can even craft 5-Star equipment which are of legendary quality, take note that this is your end-game activity, so start out with weapons that you are attainable.

Runes on the other hand can be strengthened by forging them with the blacksmith as well. By collecting runes of the same type from the shop, you can combine them together in order to increase their levels.
