Wildscapes Boosters, Power-ups and Tools

If you need a reminder how to get the different boosts in Wildscapes or how to use the tools to help you clear each level there we have here a guide to all of these.

Tile Match Boosts

These can be earned during play or activated at the start of the level if you have them available to use.

Spinning Top

Match 4 pieces in a square to create a spinning top. When you activate them by making a match they will spin across the board and clear another random piece for you. They will target an obstacle or level completion item to help you progress.

Soda Cans

Match 4 pieces in a line of the same color to generate a can of soda on the board. These can be used by making a move to match. They will clear a line of pieces in the direction that they are pointing when they are earned.

Soda Cans have 2 directions they can clear in. Horizontally and vertically. The direction of a can is randomly selected when it appears.

Bag of Chips

Match 5 or 6 pieces in an L ot T formation to generate a bag of chips. Bags of chips act as a small bombs and will clear tiles around them when they are activated.

Bucket of Candy

Match 5 game pieces in a line to generate a bucket of candy. When activated with a colour piece this will then clear all pieces of that colour from the board. These are very powerful when combined with other boosters.

Combos

A combination of boosts will be the best way to clear a lot of pieces and obstacles and be the key to making progress through the tricky stages. A combo is triggered when you activate a boost item with another boost item next to it on the board. Some combo benefits are:

Double soda cans: The tapped can will now fire in both horizontal and vertical direction.

Double Chips: Larger explosion to clear more pieces.

Soda and Chips: The can will fire in both directions and clear 3 rows of pieces instead of 1.

Spinning top and Chips or Soda can: Spinning top activates as normal but takes a power up to the target ot the spinning top as well.

Double spinning top: This sends out 3 spinning tops to target pieces on the board.

Bucket of Candy and Soda can or Chips or spinning top. The Bucket of candy will turn all the board pieces of the same colour as the power up into a power up. These will then trigger and clear a lot of pieces.

Double candy buckets: This clears or triggers a stage of all the pieces on the board.

In Game Tools

There are also 4 tools that you can use in game to help you win the levels. These can be received as rewards or also bought with coins.

Hammer

Use this tool to clear a single tile or item from the board. It can also damage some obstacle items.

Sledgehammer

Tap on any tile to clear the row and column that it is in. It also damages obstacles.

Glove

Use the glove to swap two neighbouring pieces on the board, this doesn't use up a move so can be used to set up boosters or help complete levels when you are are almost out of moves.
