The Horn of the Cryptid is obtained by defeating beasts on the map during the Gina's Revenge event.

You can use the Horn of the Cryptid of basically summon and find an 'Out of control Cryptid' on the map and start a rally against it.

The Horn of the Cryptid costs no stamina to use but starting a rally against it will cost you 25 stamina.

Basically starting a rally means that you are requesting other members of your alliance to join in in a battle against this beast on the map. If you do not have much activity in your alliance then possibly this rally won't work out for you, as you need at least one other player to join you.

Then when the time of the rally ends, as long as at least one other player has joined, your troops will be sent to battle the Cryptid. As long as the total power of your rally is enough, you will defeat the Cryptid and all members of the rally will receive a reward.

Rewards for defeating a Cryptid include speedups, shards, EXP potions and resources. You don't get a great deal of each buy if you do a lot of these then the rewards add up to a nice little amount.

Another big benefit of starting rallies against beasts on the map such as the Cryptid is that all of your alliance gets a small claimable reward too, you can find these in the Alliance page in the Chests section. Again, the rewards are small, but if many members of your alliance are completing lots of rallies, then all members will benefit from these rewards.
