Tips and Hints

1. Getting more hosts - initially, the game will throw a bunch of basic host code of Carmen to you, and as soon as you finish up on the tutorial leg of the game, a 3 star host code of Teddy. It would take quite a bit more time of playing and repeated interactions before you actually get other host codes. Other host codes are primarily earned by completing objectives -- which are like your achievements in this game. You may check on what you are required to do in order to specifically target completing a particular objective. Otherwise, what you can actually do is collect a bunch of Carmen (basic host code), and use them to upgrade Teddy on the rebuild room. There is also a slim percentage that a basic host code will yield a 2 or 3 star host, but it rarely happens.

Tips and Hints

2. Level-up your Hosts - using a particular host regularly to perform interactions will grant him/her experience points every time. What this does is generally enable a host to level-up -- which in return will become more skilled at what they do and you'd see that through the satisfaction ratings they produce, servicing their guests.

Tips and Hints

3. Match your Hosts with Guests - learning which hosts perfectly suits a particular guest will give you better experience and rewards after every interaction. Even more, the game often times reward you a host code as bonus for getting a perfect rating. So learn which of your hosts are good at particular interactions and line them up with matching guests to earn those bonuses.

4. Don't Spend Gems on Speedups - although particularly tempting, you must not waste your gems for merely speeding up processes in the game like speeding up an interaction or so. Given how hard it is to procure a gem in the game, you should see to it that the only thing they are used for is to purchase some relatively rare host codes that will be there permanently. It might take a while to procure a couple hundred of gems, but when you snag a 5-star host, you'll see it will all be worth the wait.

Tips and Hints

5. Attend to Your Hosts Repair Needs - when a host is used consecutively, it tends to wear down and soon have the potential to glitch. This is why when you take the time to check the status of your hosts, you'll see a percentage indicator of its glitch risk. If they happen to be vacant at one point, make sure to send them to the diagnostics room to give them a quick fix. It is a whole lot better and cheaper to fix a glitch, than to have them breakdown and repaired.

6. Perform Rebuild on 3-5 star Hosts - given that higher tiered hosts are good at performing different types of roles, it is best to focus performing a "Rebuild" exclusively to these bunch. Rebuild is done by sacrificing other manufactured hosts (preferably lower tiered hosts), disassembling them and used to make a target host (to be rebuilt) better. Note though, that the sacrificed hosts will be gone for good.

Tips and Hints

7. Never Attempt a Low Chance of Success Interaction (marked red) - even if the particular task is rated with an orange success rating, but is almost at 50%, never compromise your host pushing through with such interactions. Failing a role play can easily get them killed. Instead, focus on tasks / or buildings where your roster can easily succeed despite the volume or level of attending guests.

8. Equip your hosts with Reveries - reveries are like accessories of hosts that you can equip them with. What they do is provide a passive buff that improves a stat of the host that currently wears it. Additionally, you can upgrade your reverie in order boost further its passive buff. You generally get these reveries from interactions with guests (as a random drop). Simply put, reveries generally improve your hosts' performance.
