If you are familiar with games of this genre then you'll need to remember to keep upgrading your heroes in order to keep progressing.

Look out for equipment too that will strengthen your hero.

Apart from the main game, look out for events and quests that will bring you in more in-game rewards which you can use to strengthen your hero.

The game starts off quite generous with gems, but later they do get harder to get and you'll need more and more to make hero upgrades if you are using them for that. So don't waste your gems!
