Level 2 - Oversight

This is a walkthrough for Level 2 of Spotlight X Room escape. After escaping the apartment in level 1 you are now stuck in the Hotel Corridor. At the end is a boarded up door.

Use the arrow on the left to turn and face the opposite direction down the hall. At the far end is the elevator doors that we need to open. Tap to move closer to them and then tap the white door on the left to collect a key from the lock.

Return to the initial view and tap to move towards the boarded door. Tap the red box on the left wall to view it and use the key on the padlock at the bottom.

Collect the paper that appears when you open it. There are 4 symbols on it.

Back up and tap the boxes in the lower left corner by the boarded door. Tap to collect a knife and then tap the coffee cup to open it and then collect a paper. Tap to open the box on the right and collect a screwdriver.

Back up and tap to collect the step ladder to the right of the door. Then tap the toolbox on the floor. This has a 4 digit code entry. Get the code from a clue above to open it.

Collect a triangular key.

Back up into the hallway (still viewing the door) and use the knife on the box on the lower left to open it. Tap top collect a book. You can view the book in the inventory to see letters with some highlighted in red.

The highlighted letters show: XI , IV , XV , IX

Rotate your view again to face the elevator doors. Use the step ladder and place it on the right of the hallway under a box near the ceiling.

You can now tap the box to view it. Note the letter VII on the wall. Tap to collect a key from the top then use the screwdriver to remove the screws on the front of the box. No Power.

Go back to the end of the corridor with the boarded door.

Star secret: Tap the boards on the blocked doorway several times each until they fall. Then use the key to open the door. Fake. You cannot escape this way.

Tap the electrical box on the right wall. Use the triangular key to open it and find a set of breakers.

Turn on breaker number 7 (to activate power to the box above) then return to the box by the step ladder. You will see a new puzzle with 9 symbols.

Back out to the corridor and return to the electrical breaker box. At the box you need to activate 4 more breakers. Get the numbers from the book above.

. Once these are on return to the corridor and check the picture on the frames. 4 of them will now be highlighted.

Plus, Rhombus, Square, Three stripes (horizontal)

Return to the box above the step ladder and tap the 4 symbols. The puzzle will complete and the elevator doors will open.

Before exiting use the blank paper in your inventory and place it on the wet floor.

Star secret: Wet Hint: Get the wet paper.

The wet paper now has some directions.

Return to the corridor view facing the door. Then tap the three picture frames on the right to view them. The triangle the red X and the rhombus. The red X picture can be rotated. Rotate it following the arrows on the wet paper.

180 degrees anti-clockwise, 90 degrees clockwise, then 270 degrees anti-clockwise.

Star Secret: Rotate it. A paper will appear. Collect the paper to complete this star.
