Spirit Skill Guide

In Soul Land: Advent of the Gods, you’ll be able to collect different heroes with various abilities in order for them to perform their roles in your lineup. You can have Spirit Masters that are Tanks, Assists, Single ATK, Group ATK, and Control which means they must all have a skill set in order to perform well with their position.

In this page, we’ll be checking out the Spirit Skill system in the game. Each Spirit Master has a set of skills given to them which makes them unique from other characters, so knowing more about how their skills work will help you gain an advantage in playing the game.

What are Spirit Skills?

Soul Land: Advent of the Gods provides you with a huge cast of characters that you can recruit. These Spirit Masters all have abilities that they can use in battle aside from doing regular attacks, and these are called Spirit Skills. Once they have enough energy, you can tap their skill during battle which will them perform this action. Spirit Skills vary from each character, especially since they have different roles to fulfill.

When checking the Spirit Skill button in the game, you’ll be able to view all of the available skills each Spirit Master has. You will notice that there’s a variety of skills available which include Active, Passive, as well as Transformation skills. Not all Spirit Masters however, have the same number of skills that are available.

If you check each Spirit Skill that a character has, you’ll then be able to know which Spirit Rings will be effective for their gameplay. Mix and match different rings to help strengthen the skills your Spirit Master has in order to make them more efficient in battle.

How to unlock Spirit Skills

You’ll be able to see that there are some skills that you may have but they are not unlocked yet. In order for you to unlock your skills, you must reach every 10 levels in order to unlock the next set of skills. For example, level 10 unlocks the first skill, level 20 unlocks the second skill, 30 will unlock the third, and so on.

Not all Spirit Masters however have the same set of Spirit Skills they can unlock. Depending on their grade, they have a max level cap, as well as a Spirit Ring slot. Each Spirit Ring slot that is unlocked will also provide you with a Spirit Skill. Here is the list of max skills you can unlock depending on the grade of your character:

This means that if you have a SSR Spirit Master, you have 10 Spirit Skills that you can unlock in total. You’ll be able to get all of these skills once you reach level 100 which will unlock the final skill. As you unlock more skills, your character will be able to provide you with more options during battle.

Charging and Breakthrough

You might be wondering how you’ll be able to make your Spirit Skills stronger. With a lot of Spirit Skills available, should you level them one by one? In Soul Land: Advent of the Gods, skills are improved as a whole for your character, and this is done through Charging and Breakthroughs.

In order to improve your skills, you’ll play Chapter 3 in the campaign until the Improve button is provided. From here, you can make your Spirit Skills stronger by using S-Dust, S-Anima, and Silver. You can press on the plus button on these items on the upper-right side of the screen to know where they can be acquired.

Charging will require the use of S-Dust and Silver, and every 9 times of charging will require a Breakthrough which uses S-Anima. Doing charging and breakthrough will increase your skills’ base stats, and breakthroughs will upgrade all of your skills by one level. The max level of your Spirit Master will determine the max level of your Spirit Skills.

Now that you know all of these, make sure to improve and breakthrough your main characters in your party so that they’ll be able to progress further into the story and become stronger. You’ll be also needing improved skill with the other features of the game.
