Soul Land: Advent of the Gods Beginner’s Guide (Part 1)

Soul Land: Advent of the Gods is a strategy card RGP that lets you play with different characters in an oriental fantasy world. There are a lot of features in the game such as the usage of skills, different game modes, character roles, and more. This can be overwhelming at first especially if you are starting out.

Welcome to our Beginner’s Guide, Part 1! Here, we’ll be providing you with some tips when beginning your journey so you will know which activities you can do as you progress through the game. When starting out, you’ll have to complete certain parts of the game, so let us see what’s in store.

Play through the game’s tutorial and learn the basic features

One of the first things you’ll have to complete in Soul Land: Adventure of the Gods is the mandatory tutorial when starting out. Here, you’ll learn about the basic features of the game such as completing missions which can be auto-routed by tapping on them. In doing so, you’ll be able to start learning about the game’s story and lore. You’re free to skip the story as well using the skip button.

Completing missions rewards you with EXP and other stuff such as currencies and items. Follow the missions and you will eventually fight a Dire Gator. Here, you will learn about Spirit Rings as well as their importance. Spirit Rings are items you can absorb in order to gain special effects, and this will be something that you’ll hunt often as you progress in the game.

Unlock the rest of the menu features

A lot of the features of the game will be unlocked as you progress through the story. For example, features such as Perks, Events, and Drills cannot be accessed at the beginning, therefore you will want to unlock all menu features as soon as you can.

Since the Auto-Route feature is available in the story, keep on tapping it to progress. You’ll eventually be able to get new characters as well and increase your team power in order to gain access to the auto battle feature.

Check your Daily Perks

Once you have completed the game’s tutorial, you’ll be able to access some new menu features in the games’ main screen. One of these features are Perks, which provides you with a variety of game rewards such as log-in bonuses, BR Rewards, Online Rewards, and more.

You’ll know if you have a perk if there’s a red dot on the button while viewed on the main screen. However, one of the important rewards you can get are from the 7-day rewards. If you log in, you’ll get Diamonds, Silver, Spirit Rings, S-Dust etc. You can get 10 SSR Shards for Zhu Zhuqing on the third day and 10 SSR Shards for Dai Mubai. These shards can be combined to get a free SSR character.

Use your Recruit Ticket

After getting access to the Perks feature, you can check the Daily sign-in section to log in on your first day. The first reward that you’ll be able to get is a Recruit Ticket which can be used to get a hero from the Recruit feature. The Online rewards will also provide Recruit Tickets however, you’ll need to log-in within the specified time period on the timer.

Completing the Online rewards perk will provide 5 pcs. Of 1x Recruit Ticket as well as 1 pc. of 7x Recruit Ticket. Both of these can be used on the Rare Recruitment menu of the game. It takes almost 1 hour to get all of these tickets, so it's better for you to play the story for the meantime before you can claim them all.

Decide if you want to Reroll or not

After you have used all of the recruit tickets that you have acquired from your Perks, you might want to consider if you wish to reroll your account or not. Rerolling in this game isn’t easy since the recruit tickets that you’ll obtain can take up to 1 hour for claiming. The game provides you with a 10% SSR rate for hero pulls, and you’ll be able to get more characters in the future as well.

Some characters are good at specific areas in the game such as the story, or PVP. If you will be focusing on those then you will want to use a good SSR hero. If you used a guest account, you can reinstall the game and try again in order to get a new set of recruit tickets. Check our Reroll Guide as well for more information.

Once you have completed all of this, you can continue and progress with the game’s story mode and get more rewards and resources, you’ll also be unlocking new features as you progress. More tips about the game will be provided on our Part 2 of our Beginner’s Guide.
