Snowbreak: Containment Zone Logistics Officers Guide

By Paul | Sep 7th 2023

Snowbreak doesn't have an equipment system but you can further improve your loadout through the help of Logistics Officers. These are NPC characters that you can assign to support your operative, providing various stat bonuses and bonus effects. In this article, we will discuss how the system works and how you can take advantage of its features.

Logistics Officers in Snowbreak: Containment Zone

The game's logistics system acts similar to equipment screens of normal RPG games. This menu allows you to assign up to three logistics officers to an operative. Each logistic officer has random stat bonuses that they provide to the operative they are assigned to.

There's also a Squad Effect bonus that will get activated if you assign logistic officers belonging to the same squad to the same operative. There are two Squad Effect bonuses; one is activated by assigning any two officers from the same squad and the second one is activated by assigning all officers from the same squad.

Logistics Officer Stats

The stats officers provide are random so you may find copies of the same officer having different stat bonuses. 5-star officers can also have up to three different stat bonuses. However, the third slot needs to be unlocked first by leveling up the officer to LV15 (max level). That third skill can also be "re-rolled" in case you don't like the bonus stat. However, this requires a valuable resource called a Revision Application so do it sparingly and carefully.

You can further increase an officer's stats by leveling them up. You can do this by using consumables called "certifications". These consumables have various qualities (as indicated by color). The higher quality, the more EXP that the officer gets. You can also select copies of other officers as fodder. You can even use trained officers that you don't think you need anymore as fodder that's worth a lot of exp.

Assigning Logistics Officers in Snowbreak: Containment Zone

As much as possible, assign officers that provide stat bonuses and squad effects that complement the operative's combat style and skills. For example, for Siris, her ideal logistic officer squad will be the Danube or Koffman squads since they have squad effects that increase shield construction efficiency and bonus effects when shields are active. For other operatives, there is a variety of options since most of the squads focus on boosting damage. As much as possible try to get the full squad effect since that's a free effect that's usually more significant than what you'll get from the 2-officer effect.

You can freely swap logistic officers between operatives without any penalties or issues. You may also want to "lock" logistic officers you want to keep to prevent them from accidentally getting used as a level-up fodder.

How to obtain Logistics Officers in Snowbreak: Containment Zone

There are several methods of acquiring new logistics officers. The first one is via Operations > Raining Fire. Here, you'll get new random officers and EXP consumables called "Certifications". The harder difficulty levels will provide higher ranked officers and higher quality certifications.

There's also a Squad Application meter located in the lower-left corner of the Raining Fire operation screen. It is similar to the Echo (gacha) process that builds up a "pity counter" as you continue getting new officers. You can select a squad and once the progress bar is full, you'll get a random officer from the selected squad. (It's possible to get duplicates in this process.)

The next source is via the Shop > Circulation Hub > Logistics Office screen. Here you can spend a currency called Personnel Limit to purchase specific logistics officers. You can earn the currency by getting 1000 points in Gigalink (multiplayer co-op mode) which resets weekly.
