When you're in your friends tab a Delete button should be visible at bottom left even without a friend being selected. Scroll down to your inactive friends, select them. Then press delete.

If that is not an option for you, you have two things you can do. Log out to the main login page of Love Nikki and run the FIX button. IF YOU ARE ON A GUEST ACCOUNT, PLEASE BIND IT TO EMAIL FIRST. Doesn't have to be facebook, but at least bind it to email just in case. That normally fixes any bugs.

If that doesn't work, contact their tech support in game. That is found by going to your icon on the main page once you've logged in. Then select SETTINGS in top right. Then find SUPPORT and they should be able to help you.
