Chapter 8 - Han Qiuyu
More Hospital Escape - Room Escape Game
This is our walkthrough to Patient 8 in Hospital Escape. Han Qiuyu is your friend from the Police and is now in a coma.
Hidden / Deformation Object: Watch (13)
You begin in a Medieval style village in the Square
Object: on the ground bottom center.
Tap to view the food cart on the lower left.
Collect from it a 'Wooden Awl', A 'Wood Brush' and find under the Lemons (or limes) 'Half a note'
Next, view the notice board on the right.
Place the Half a note above the other half on the left.
Note also the colored segment pattern towards the bottom. And also tap to move the paper on the right to see another clue underneath.
Show
In front of the door near the center of the scene is a small box. View this.
Hint: Use the note clue above to set the right pattern.
Collect a 'Key'
Now tap on the brown door at the far end of the street on the left.
Use the key to open the padlock
Enter the Blacksmith's Shop
View the shelf on the far left and collect some 'Crucible Tongs'.
Next, view the rack to the left of the fireplace.
Collect a 'Bladed sword' and also note the symbols on the rack.
View the Anvil in the center of the room and collect from it the 'Sharpener' wheel.
Object: View the small barrel to the right of the anvil to see some scissors / watch on top.
Then view the low frame on the far right of the room.
Add to this the sharpener wheel and then the Wooden awl to secure it.
Tap the wheel to start it spinning and then use the sword on it. You will collect a 'Sharp Sword'.
Exit to the street and tap on the door to the left with the purple glow.
This has a combination lock with 4 symbols.
Hint: on the sword rack there are 3 symbols.
Solution: use the 3 symbols from the rack in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions (as on the rack) and then change the 1st symbol on the lock until it opens. It will vary for each game.Show
Enter the Magic House.
From the back of the circle on the floor, collect a bottle of 'Red Potion'.
View the table on the right of the room to see this cat figure.
Object: Star emblem on the right.
Collect the bottle of 'Blue potion'
Now tap on the large table / altar in front of the window. Collect from it a 'Badge' and a 'Charcoal Bar'.
Just to the left of the large table is a small box on the ground, tap to view this.
Hint: starting from the blue dot on the left you need to move 1 node at a time following the connecting lines. You must move through all the nodes on the board only once and reach the white house shape on the right.
Solution: Tap the first yellow circle to move down, then follow, R, D, R, D, R, R, UL, U, DL, U, L, UR, L, UR, R, DR, DR.Show
Collect a 'Rocker Handle'.
Exit the house back to the street. Tap the far end of the street to move to the next area.
In front of the city gate
Object: Small leaf / watch on the steps to the right.
Tap to view the red bush on the left .
Use the sword on this to cut back the bush and collect a 'Mould' (Mold). You also now have a bladed sword again.
Return to the Blacksmith shop and re sharpen the sword.
Then go back to the area in front of the city gate.
On the right is a door and just above and to the left is a carving on the wall.
Use the sword on the mouth to place it and you will collect a cats eye.
Remove the sword and water will flow and will the trough below the face.
Now go back to the Magic House and view the cat figure again.
Add the eye to the face and you can then collect a 'Ruby'.
Back to the square and view the vegetable cart again. On the right is a small hole.
Place the ruby there to open the compartment and collect a bottle of 'Herbicide'.
Go back to the next area and tap on the ground to the left of the door where there is a bramble bush.
Pour the herbicide on this an then use the sharp sword on it to cut it back and collect a 'Magnet'.
Now view the carving on the wall again. On the right eye there is something just visible, use the magnet on this and collect a 'coin'.
Go back to the square and first return to the blacksmith to re sharpen the sword.
Then tap on the door on the building on the right.
Place the coin into the round slot and then you need to use the knocker on the left to get in.
Hint, you need to tap in the correct sequence to activate the lights on the knocker.
There is a clue on the notice board to the right.
Solution: Tap once, pause for 2 seconds and then tap twice.Show
Enter the Tavern.
View the barrels on the right of the room.
Use the sword on the barrel to cut it open and collect a 'Triangle block'. You will get a bladed sword back.
Exit the tavern, sharpen your sword again and then enter the Magic House.
View the cat again and add the triangle block to its back.
Collect a 'key'.
Go back into the tavern and tap on the chains behind the bar.
Use the sharp sword to cut the ropes holding the chains. You will collect the rope.
Then place the 'badge' in the shape on the right to open the hatch.
Add the Rocker handle to the rocker switch and pull it to move the chains.
On the ground now is a cage and the Chandelier on the right.
View the cage and use the key to open this and collect a 'Clockwork' key and a 'Claw Hammer'.
Then view the chandelier and collect 'Small Stones' and a 'Rune fragment'
Next to the bar is a wooden bench. View this and then tap the seat to collect some 'Boards'.
On the table towards the front are some 'Crooked Nails' Use the claw hammer to collect these.
Go to the blacksmiths and view the anvil.
Place the crooked nails and then use the hammer on them to collect 'Vertical nails'
Back out to the square and tap to view the broken ladder to the right.
Add the 'boards' to this and then the nails. Use the hammer on then to fix the ladder and you can then collect the green 'notebook'.
You can view this for some instructions, then use the charcoal bar on the blank page to reveal a clue.

You should also turn the page for a chapter clue.
Enter the blacksmith shop. Sharpen your sword.
Tap above the fireplace to see a set of stones with symbols. Add the 'small stones' item to the missing space.
Hint: Tap pairs to swap them. Get the right order.
Solution: Follow the clue found in the notebook above.Show
Collect a 'Fragments' item.
Now return to the Magic House.
To the right of the window is a clockwork owl. View this.
Use the clockwork key on it to wind it and a panel will open.
Collect the 'fragments'
On the ground on the bottom left is a loose floorboard.
Use the sharp sword on this top lift it and collect 'Green Potion'
Exit and make sure to go to the blacksmith again to sharpen your sword.
Go back to 'in front of the city gate' and tap to view the door on the right.
Add the 2 fragments to the circle on the right. You will then get a puzzle on the left.
You can drag to slide all of the small hexagon shapes on the board, you need to arrange then so that they all fit into the large hexagons with the thick border. None should be in the large hexagons with the thin border.
There are 3 levels to complete
Once done you can enter the Church.
Tap to view the pew on the bottom right and collect a book.
Tap to view the pew on the bottom left. There is a cue here in the numbers.
Object: Cross / watch on the right.
View the statue on the central altar and note the clue on the paper.
Exit the church and view the fountain in front of the door. This is a puzzle.
Hint: Note the symbol on the fountain is the same as that on the 3 bottles of potion.
Solution: there are 2 clues found with 3 colored segments on then, ranging in size, small medium and large. Follow the first one found on the notice board and add potions to the small, medium and large bowls of the fountain. Blue, red, green. Then follow the second clue found, Blue, Green, Red to large, medium and finally small. You need to get the fountain colors to be as seen below. If you make any mistakes then keep adding potions until you achieve the correct colors.Show
Collect the 'Golden Cross'.
While outside, combine the magnet and the rope in your inventory to make a 'magnet sling'.
Then tap on the water to the left to view it. Then add the magnet sling.
This is a mini-game. Iron ingots will wash by at the bottom from time to time. Tap the magnet to lower it to collect it avoiding the clumps of weeds. You have 4 tries. The game just restarts though if you fail.
Collect an iron ingot
Go back into the church.
On the left of the central window is a chain attached to the wall. View this.
Use the sharp sword on it to break it and the Chandelier will fall and break the floor. View this area.
Move the light floor section on the right and from underneath collect an 'Iron making vessel' and 'Hexagonal stained glass'.
Now tap to view the chain on the right of the central window. This one as a puzzle.
Hint: Use the arrows to rotate the various circles. Move the colored balls into the correct positions for the same colored circles (Red and yellow).
Once done the right chandelier will lower. View this and collect a 'Sulfur Block'.
Finally tap on the central window.
Place the hexagonal stained glass block that you have in the gap on the lower right and you will see 4 symbols. Note their orientations.
Return to the Tavern.
On the back wall to the left is a square grey panel. View this.
Tap to rotate the 4 symbols to match the window above. As you tap some to set them others can change.
Collect a 'handle' and a second 'Mould'.
On the left of the room next to the large barrel behind the bar it a small panel, view this.
Add the handle to it and open it to collect a 'Crown'.
Next view the wooden wall cupboard to the right.
This has a combination lock.
Hint: There was a clue to this on the church left pew.
Solution: The first sum on the church pew doesn't add up. 6128+9091 = 9825 (wrong). But if you read the first 2 numbers upside down and backwards then it does, 8219 + 1606 = 9825 (correct) Do the same with the second set of numbers you have (they will be unique) and get the 4 digit number that you then match to the symbols shown. From mine: 5969 + 6911 >> 1169 + 6965 = 8134 Use this on the lockShow
Object: glass / watch on the left
Collect an 'Emerald' and the 'stone mill'
Go to the church.
View the pew on the left again and pace the emerald into the slot next to the number clue.
Collect a Key.
Then view the lectern / stand next to the chandelier on the right.
Place the crown on top and then collect a rune fragment.
View the statue in the center again. Add the Golden Cross to it and you can collect another rune fragment.
Go back to the Magic house and view the bookshelf on the left.
Add the book you collected to it and you can then collect 'Chunks of leather'
Go to the blacksmiths and view the locked trunk on the left. Use the key to open this and collect from it some 'Charcoal powder'.
View the fireplace. Add the Iron making vessel to the fire. Then add the Iron ingots to it.
Back up and view the bellows on the right of the fireplace.
Add the chunks of leather to it to repair it and then tap to use the bellows.
Go back to the fire and you can use the crucible tongs to collect molten iron.
View the anvil. Place down the 2 halves of the Mold.
Add the molten iron.
Use the tongs again to collect the 'cast mold'
Now view the barrel to the right and place the cast mold into the water.
You now have a 'cannonball'.
Return to the magic house.
View the table in front of the window again and first place the sulfur block into the long bowl on the back right.
Add the stone mill to it and tap to move the wheel and crush the sulfur.
Collect the powdered sulfur.
Now view the stone on the left. Add to it the 3 rune fragments. It will glow.
Add the cannonball to the hole in the center of the table. You will now collect an Enchanted cannonball.
Go to the area 'in front of the city gate'. Tap on the bridge to cross. You cannot pass but you will see some symbols / letters drawn on the wall.
This is a clue. It will vary with each game.
Enter the church and tap to view the statue on the wall on the left.
Tap again to view the keypad.
Hint: You need to enter a 4 letter code. Note the arrows at the top.
Solution: the symbols on the bridge are stylized letters. But as per the arrows you need to reverse it (mirror the image left to right). When seen backwards like that the letter will roughly represent English letters. Each code is different so you need to work out what your code is. Mine was E F R UShow
The statue turns and you can collect the 'Golden Cup' and some 'Flintstones'
Exit the church and view the carving on the wall again.
Use the golden cup here to collect some 'Grey Water'
Return to the Magic House and view the Cauldron in the center of the room.
Add to this the Grey Water.
The water boils and then you can collect 'Nitrate'.
Combine the Sulfur powder, nitrate and charcoal powder. Collect Black Powder.
Now return to the church. View the cannon on the left.
First place the black powder into the cannon.
Then use the wood brush to tamp it down.
Then add the cannonball.
Next place the Flintstones at the back of the cannon under the fuse.
Now use the sword on the flintstones to strike them and light the fuse.
The cannon fires. The city gate is breached. You can now cross the bridge into the city.
