I have really enjoyed playing this game but once you get above level 42 it is almost impossible to play unless you spend copious amounts of real money. Tasks require ridiculous amounts of resources and long time frames to make items. The amount of energy required to obtain items is outrageous. I am lucky to send off one boat each day. This game will send you broke if you decide to take the easy way and spend real money. Otherwise you sadly will probably never complete or win an island competition. Very disappointing after all the time and effort I've put into playing it for the last three years.

I have been playing Family Island for a couple of months and it is WAY too addicting. I never want to stop playing it and I have spent a LOT of money getting extra energy to finish an island event. The further you go in the game, esp with island events, there are less opportunities to get energy AND the amount of energy needed to get to the next island increases SIGNIFICANTLY. I would stay away from this if you can. I never thought I would be this addicted to a game and it's not worth the financial costs. The people who designed this game know what they are doing and greedy on top of it all.

It's okay, but kind of seems like a money grab. Just one resource can cost a ton more energy than the max energy I can have. It really makes it so you have to spend money to complete tasks.

I like this game, but it costs way to much real life money to buy the extra energy needed to complete the timed adventures, which are near impossible to complete without extra energy!!

The concept of the game is really fun, and I like the story, but there are a lot of frustrating and annoying parts of the game that make gameplay difficult. Firstly, the constant pop-ups of dialogue from all of the characters is out of hand and happens so frequently that sometimes I just close the game out of frustration. I don’t need every single moment of the game guided like that with comments from the characters. It makes you lose interest. Secondly, the tasks that the game asks of you are essentially unattainable unless you want to dump copious amounts of real money into the game. Otherwise, you’d get nowhere and the tasks (primarily of upgrading all of the different machineries) pile up and just sit there and that makes you feel like all the time you’re putting into the game to advance is not working and is useless. It’s very unfortunate that that’s the case, because it really can be a fun game with really cute and wonderful graphics. But it is obvious to see that at every step of the game you are expected to put money into it, as there are constant pop-ups of “deals” for you to purchase that are suspiciously cheap but they add up very quickly because that makes you think that you’re not spending as much as you actually are. It is a sneaky and evil tactic to use to get money from your customers. I wish so bad that this game was more user friendly when it comes to making it possible for the players to advance without putting in money, and making the tasks realistic based on how difficult it can be to attain the objects to complete them. My review would have been so much better if these problems weren’t present.

I've been on this game for many years. Hense the dopamine. I've spent soooo much money just trying to win in top 3 position. Don't do it my friends. It's truly not worth all the money to actually get nowhere. Find something g else to entertain your time. Don't spend money. You will regret it every time you purchase more in this game. There is more to life.

The continual popups are making this game too aggravating to play. Players know where to go if they want to spend money. Good grief, give it a break!!

You should make it so that you can cancel making an item. I hate how you can want to make a rope and u accidentally click something else and you waste all ur items on something you don’t need to make and u can’t cancel making something.

It is an entertaining, interactive game; however, it is ridiculous that there is never a cooling-off period between events.

Additionally, it would be great IF YOU ALL WOULD FINISH HOME ISLAND so we can get to the upper levels. Also, would it kill your bank account to include some way of speeding up item production without having to buy rubies?

It would be a lot better if you didn't have to wait days or weeks for the golden tools. I've been trying to get golden saws for a long time now. I can seem to get them. So I can't get my 8 ball thing.

Starts off very good, but each level requires so many items to complete, makes it. Frustrating and slow waiting for energy to build up.

Can’t give it a 5. Too many issues. Game won’t open most of the time. Love playing it when it does work.

I love the game but I think it’s definitely made for use with purchases with real money.

30 items for one upgrade might as well be 100 ! When there’s two other items as well.

It’s disheartening so soon in the game. Same with the shamans trade shop.. 5 steaks! and only one rooster!!
