How to upgrade to elite in Clash Royale?

Elite cards (level 15) have been introduced to Clash Royale in the June 2023 update. Now you can take your cards past level 14 by collecting elite wild cards

To get your cards to elite level, you need to collect elite wild cards, and you'll need 50,000 of them to take one chosen card to level 15, which is the elite level..

It sounds a lot, but it's not really because for every card to you already have at level 14 you'll collect wild elite cards instead of more cards and level 14 cards.

Normally, the game would convert these to gold, so you'll be getting less gold in the game from conversion of level 14 cards, and instead you'll get the wild elite cards, which can be put towards the 50,000 needed to take a level 14 card to elite.

How much gold to upgrade to elite?

The good news is that you don't need any gold to take a card from level 14 to elite. You just need the 50,000 shards.

How to get elite wild cards?

For any cards to you get for cards that you already have at level 14, you'll get elite wild cards. So the more cards you already have at level 14, the more elite wild cards you'll be collecting. Here is a conversion table so so can see what each card you get is worth as a wild card:

Rare Card = 10 Elite Wild Cards

Epic Card = 50 Elite Wild Cards

Legendary Card = 200 Elite Wild Cards

Champion Card = 500 Elite Wild Cards

The other good news is that you should be picking up gold a lot more easily now in events and chests to make getting more cards to level 14 a bit easier. That will also in turn make it better for you to collect more wild elite cards.
