Letter Hints

To help you find words when you are stuck you are able to buy letters (Hints) at a standard rate of 25 coins. There are occasional limited time offers that lets you get them for 12. Keep an eye out for these offers.

During the initial levels the words are easier to find and less complicated. We would strongly recommend collecting your coins and saving them up to have a good stash for the harder levels to come.

Extra Words

Not all of the available words are on the list that you need to fill. Any real word that is not on the list can still be spelled out and will count as an extra word. Finding these adds them to an “extra words” jar. Once the jar is full, you will earn an additional 25 or 50 coins. At the beginning you need 50 extra words to fill the jar up. In the more advance packs you need 150 words to earn your reward.

For this reason it is worth trying to find as many words in each level a possible. Even if you have for example completed the 4 letters list you can still find valid 4 letter words while playing to count towards the extra word jar reward.

Spelling

The words are mostly spelled in American English. However, some UK english spellings are also accepted. for example the game will accept "mom" and also "mum" as valid words.

Plurals / S

A good knowledge of the structure of english language words is very useful here and having an 'S' as a letter will offer the possibility of plurals of words in the list. For example finding GROW will mean that GROWS is also valid (as an answer word or an extra word). This may also be true when a D or ED is available to create past tense word variants or other common language endings.

Rude words

The game does not recognise rude or swear words as valid words which makes is a great game for children to discover and find words.

Word order

The list of words you need to find are in alphabetical order with each length of word. If you have found a few of the words already you can use the list to see what the likely starting letter may be.

Shuffle

You have the option to shuffle the displayed letter jumble at any time. Although all this does is move the letters around to a new random order it it possible that they will line up for you to spell out words. Or at least part of a word that may help you to guess the rest. If you are stuck, tapping the shuffle button to change the order a few times while checking for any mind jogging letter groups is a good way to give yourself a chance to find something.

Simple words

Just a quick nudge to remember to look out for simple words. There have been many times when looking for some hard to find word that I just can't see the frustration turns to self deprecation when I spot 'AND' or 'ONCE'.
