What is an academy alliance?

An academy alliance is usually an affiliate of another bigger alliance which is used to house players which may not yet meet the requirements of the bigger alliance.

This is a good way to bring in extra friendly players that may grow and one day be eligible to be part of the main alliance.

Academy alliances could be used for lower power players and for players that may be more casual.
