How can I store more meat and other resources so I can upgrade?

You need to build and upgrade the Depot structures, eg 'Meat Depot'. Each of the resource types has one (not honeydew). You can find these in the build under under each resource type.

Each Depot can be upgraded to level 10 and you can then build Depot II and finally Deport III.
