Survivors: The Quest® Guide
Since survival is one of the main objectives of the game, being able to put together edible meals is essential. In the beginning cooking will be the least of your worries since you will be dealing with simply shaking trees to get a few coconuts.
But as soon as the third character appears, cooking will be made available. But why bother with cooking since it entails more steps? The answer is simple: cooking food provides MORE value and benefits to the characters. Not only will your characters benefit from having a decreased value of Hunger (meaning they get fuller faster), other stats--like comfort, happiness, and stamina-- are being recharged as well (depending of course on the type of meal that is cooked).
Going back to cooking, the main task basically involves gathering the necessary ingredients needed for the meal. But before you get busy with going around the area in search of ingredients, you will have to make sure that these are ready and functioning:
1. Cooking area / fire pit
2. Nest for catching crabs
Once you have those available, you may proceed with cooking meals.
