Stickman of Wars Cheat and Tips
The game can start of a little slow as you can only gather wood in the beginning, but keep plugging away at it and you'll be able to gather enough wood to make the upgrades you need to unlock new areas and to get new weapons.
Here are some pointers for anyone that may be struggling at the start of the game.
1. Unlock the buildings
In the initial area there are a few buildings that you'll need to unlock in order to make any worthwhile progress in the game.
Essential buildings include the fire, this will heal you rapidly, and the tool shop, this will allow you to get the crowbar, which is the tool you need to gather metal on the map.
Another essential building is the training base, here you can spend wood to improve your character's power.
2. How to get metal?
First of all you'll need to unlock the tool shop, then have enough gold which you gt by killing enemies on the map to purchase the crowbar. Then simply tap the backpack item in the bottom right of the screen to equip the crowbar.
3. Grind and Upgrade
It's really important to get stronger in this game in order to progress. So you can do this by upgrading your basic weapons, the spade and crowbar, and also by getting more weapons, such as the gun which is unlocked by getting to it on the map early in the game.
You should also upgrade yourself a lot in the training base, all of the stats are great to improve, but especially the attack strength and health.
4. Regenerating
Everything regenerates in this game, including you when you die! So all of the resource points on the map and the enemies will regenerate in the same place, so you can go at them again and get the rewards more times.

Depends on type of enemy and style of fighting.... I use the gun for single distant targets and the shotgun for multiple enemies. I then try to line them up so the spread "touches" more enemies. The UZI i don't like so much now, but seems a good melee gun.

What's the best way to get resources fast?
At the beginning, the best way to get resources fast it to watch the video ads! It's a bit of a hassle, but it is faster than grinding through the map. Also don't forget to start and upgrade your mines, this will bring in a constant stream of wood and other resources. Upgrade your spade and crowbar too, this will allow you to break things and get the resources quicker.
