How to open the Overseer's Book

This is a puzzle guide for Murder By Choice. While investigating Haven to look for hidden spy cams and other devices you will find an old book that is locked. You try to open it with the Overseer Emblem that you have but you then need to solve a puzzle to fully open the book.

This is a guide to solving the puzzle.

The puzzle requires that you move the gold block from the left to the opening on the right. You need to arrange the other blocks on the board so that you can slide the gold block through.

You do not need to move the gold block all the way in one go.

Solution

Follow the steps below to complete this puzzle.

Begin by moving the bottom right block up and then the lower row ones to the right.

Next move the 2 in front of the gold block down

Now you can move the gold block forward

Move the 3 blocks to the lower left of the gold block up.

Move 1 of the lower right blocks back.

Now move the 2 vertical blocks to the left of the gold block down

Next move the lower blocks to the left and then the ones in front of the gold block down.

Finally move the top blocks to the left and the final block on the right up to clear the path to the goal.
