How to get Energy in Murder By Choice

Murder By Choice is both a hidden object and puzzle game as well as a murder Mystery Whodunit. Following the story line will keep you hooked to the game and will let you control some of the progression though asking questions and making choices. All of the actions you take in the game though will use Energy.

Energy Use

Moving around the house and Island will not require any energy and many conversations also do not use it. But other actions will use a certain amount each as listed below.

Hidden Object Scenes

- Each item you find will take 5 energy

- Freeze Screen when you tap to fast on the wrong area will cost you 10 energy. Always tap carefully and take it slow to avoid wasting the energy.

Taking a photo, Making a dialogue choice, using an inventory item

- These also use 10 energy each time.

Watching a Cut scene / Comic strip story line

- These story cut scenes will use 30 energy.

Mini-games / Puzzles

These are many puzzle objectives in the game as well as the hidden object scenes.

- Opening a Puzzle mini-game will costs 50 energy

- Skipping a puzzle mini-game will costs another 20 energy

The game provides energy for you to play up to a maximum of 200. This will regenerate over time but will take around 24 hours to fill from empty to full. But if you want to quickly get more energy when you are playing and just need to find one more item, ask one more question, there are a few ways you can do that.

Buy energy packs

There is the in game shop which will have many packs of energy and hints available to buy. Its always great to support a game developer by making purchases to help them continue to support the game and make new ones. But it can be very expensive to do this many times.

Watch Video Ads

Also in the shop is the option to watch ads for 10 energy at a time. The ads typically last 30 seconds and with a few minutes here you can build up energy for a challenge scene or some investigation.

Achievements

The game has a large number of achievements, many of which you will unlock simply by making certain choices or reaching parts of the story. Others are hidden secret which you can come across as you explore the house and the island.

Each one may only provide a small amount of energy but if you save up then you can give yourself a useful boost when you need to complete and objective.

Collectibles

As well a achievements there are also collectibles to find throughout the house and island. These are grouped in to sets of 3 matching items and completing each set will give energy. They are hard to find though so you will need to check everything you can to get them.
