Fortune Expedition on Monopoly Go starts at the same time as the latest dig for treasure event, Tundra Treasures, os as well as dice and stickers, you'll be able to find up to 199 pickaxes to help you with that event in the rewards and milestones list.
Everything kicks off at 8 AM ET on January 31st 2025 and this event gives you two days and two hours to work through as many of the 62 milestones that you can.
Each milestone contains it's own reward, and these are all listed in the table below detailing not only how many points are needed for each one, but also how many points in total you'll need from the start of the event to reach any of the milestones so you can easily see more or less how difficult it will be to reach each level.
Gain points in this event by landing on the pickup tokens that you will see on random tiles on the board, you get two points each time multiplied by the dice multiplier that you used for that throw. - Quick Tip: Look out for clusters of point scoring tiles close together for the best opportunity to use a high multiplier. No point in going around the board on auto roll for this event if you are low on dice and trying to be efficient, you have to choose the best places to use a high multiplier. Also consider how long it's been since you've had a bank heist event when working out the multiplier that you want to use.
The Pickaxes that you win in Fortune Expedition can be used in the latest Tundra Treasures event that is also running at the same time to let you win even more rewards. Look out as well for the new tournament, Tundra Trek which also offers the chance to win more pickaxes.

Fortune Expedition event playing guide and strategy
You earn points during pickup events when you land on any of the board tiles with the event token shown on them, these will be arranged at random on the board and every time you hit one it's locations will change to a new tile.
Landing on the token will score you two points multiplied by whatever dice multiplier that you used for that throw, so if you are using a x10 multiplier when you roll the dice you will get 20 points towards the next goal.
To really make the most of this event you need to pay attention to the board and the locations of the pickup tokens. Look around the board for groups of points tiles that are close together and around other tiles such as chance, railroad and shields. If you are lucky then you will have a hot spot on the board you can try for a big score with your multipliers when you are in range of these areas.
This event coupled with the high roller can give you a ton of points if luck is on your side. But you have to be patient and just use more dice when the probabilities are in your favor.
But remember, that is still no guarantee that you'll hit the points tiles, we've all been in that position where you can literally score with about eight different numbers, but still throw a number that you don't need and lose a ton of dice, so always best not to go all-in on any single throw even if the odds are stacked in your favor.
If you do not have any good hot spots to try for, then play low multipliers until the pickup tokens are moved and hopefully arrange themselves more favorably for you.
