Should I Transfer to Another City in Idle Supermarket Tycoon?

You might have tried your first transfer onto a bigger city in the game, only to find out that transferring would also mean that you’ll have to start from ground up again. Also, you’ll notice that you won’t be able to bring any of your savings from the last city you were in -- which is not cool to boot, and that all your department upgrades are all gone. However, as you progress in the game, you’ll figure that this is the only way to go in order to improve your capacity to earn and unlock the different departments.

What you should know before transferring to the concluding city:

1. Gathering extra money before you transfer is not needed because you’ll start back from zero resources when you transfer. As soon as you get the chance to transfer (when you have enough resources to unlock the concluding city), don't bother upgrading or saving any extra money because you won’t be able to use any of it when you transfer.

2. Concluding cities always have something better to offer - either a price multiplier to increase your profits per sale, or increase in foot traffic. You would notice too that whenever you try to start from ground up again in a bigger city, it becomes easier to push through with upgrades as they cost the same, but your profits are multiplied several folds. Even if you start from scratch, it will just take a few minutes to get to where you are before you transferred.

3. If it frustrates you to upgrade your departments (especially when you start again from scratch), know that tap-holding on the level up / upgrade button can actually make this process easier. It bumps the speed of the whole upgrading process.
