With the new Heartfelt Happiness season now underway, the whole trading system is about to get a much needed overhaul. We've seen a preview of it and we'll be updating this page once it's fully live.
Until then, these instructions are good for trading in Monopoly Go.
With the latest season already in full swing, we take a look at the best ways how to trade stickers in Monopoly GO to help you complete sets and get you closer towards completing your whole album.
How to Trade Stickers in Monopoly GO!
You can only trade duplicate stickers in Monopoly GO and also the person you trade with must be listed as a friend in your game. Also, gold sticker trading is limited, and we have a separate article about that.
So, with friends added, all you have to do to trade stickers with someone is to select the sticker that you want to trade, by going to album, selecting the collection, then selecting the sticker you want to trade and press send to friend. Then you simply select the friend that you want to send the sticker to from your friend list.
The problem is, there is no way to communicate with other players within the game itself. So if you are arranging a trade this has to be conducted somewhere outside of the game.

However, all trades are based on trust, there is no guarantee that if you send a sticker, the other player will send one back, so be careful with your trading!
Facebook Trading Group
As already mentioned, there is a Monopoly GO! Trading Group on Facebook, while we make no recommendation to use this service, we can tell you a bit about how it works.
Basically you have to join the group, then generally you can look through the available posted trades or post your own.
A good place is to post a screenshot of the collection that you need stickers and say what you want and what you can offer.
Again, there is no guarantee that the trade will go well, or you'll receive anything in return, but generally bad players will be removed from the group, so hopefully if you trade, things turn out well for you!
How to trade 5 Star Stickers
You can trade all stickers the same way in Monopoly GO! Unless the card is classified as 'Golden', in which case, Golden stickers can only be traded as part of the Golden Blitz event.
Confirmed Trading Coming Soon
Verified trading is being tested in some regions during December 2023. In this new system you are able to confirm a trade before both sides send the stickers at the same time. This is a vast improvement over the existing system which is very much open to scams and manipulation.
