Chapter 5 - Lin Wanmeng

Patient 5 in Hospital Escape is Lin Wanmeng, an 11 year old girl who has suffered from many ailments in the past.

Hidden Object: Mirrors

You begin outside a house in a cold snowy landscape (Snow 1)

View the snowman and collect a Spatula

Object: Mirror to the right of the snowman by the fence post.

Then on the bottom right tap the small pile of snow.

Use the spatula to clear the snow and find a bag and a box.

From the top of the box collect a mirror fragment and then open the bag and collect some Kerosene

Tap to view the large tree on the right and in the snow in front of it you can clear snow and collect a Lighter.

Combine the lighter and the kerosene.

On the fence to the left is a key hanging from a string.

Use the mirror fragment to cut the string and get the key,

Tap to view the front door of the house. The lock is frozen.

Use the lighter to melt this and then use the key to open the door.

Enter the House

View the table and collect a butter knife and the butter

Next tap to view the fireplace.

Collect from the shelf at the top 2 Nuts

Use the butter on the handle to loosen it. Then open the door

From inside collect a chain.

Next tap on the bed on the top right.

Object: Mirror, top left next to the brown box.

We cannot open the box yet but collect a 'Lasso' from the right and then use the knife on the purple box on the left to open it.

Collect a blue square shard.

Also examine the photo under this.

Back up and tap on the large cabinet on the back right.

There is a puzzle lock.

Add the blue square and then use the buttons to arrange them

Hint: Make 3 rows with red at the top, then blue and yellow at the bottom.

Collect the Guides from the right.

Next, tap on the rug in the center to see a broken chainsaw.

Use the Guides on this and then the chain. Tap the side panel to close and then add the Nuts to secure it.

You now have a chainsaw.

Go back outside to the large tree, use the chainsaw on this to cut it down. This provides a bridge across the river.

On the roof of the house it a Bamboo pole. View this and use the lasso to collect it.

Select this and then tap the fallen tree to let you cross the river. Carefully

Tap to step. You need to tap and hold for longer steps. Avoid the ice patches to get across safely.

You reach the next area 'Snow 2' there is a polar bear blocking your path.

On the ground there are several items to find.

To the left is a wooden board, view this.

Object: Mirror, top right.

Collect a 'broken inlay' and a 'hang buckle'

Also notice the clue on the wood, there are sequences of numbers with symbols at the bottom.

To the right is a small tent like structure.

Collect a 'Patterned square' and examine the Adoption application paper.

Use the hang buckle collect the 3 'ground nails'.

Just behind the tent is a stone with snow on top. View this and collect a triangle button.

Further behind this below a statue is a circular puzzle. View this.

Collect the 'key' and then place the blue patterned square on the the board.

Hint to solve this you need to move he pieces so that they line up vertically.

Once done collect the 'round button'

Go back to the first area (Snow 1) and tap to view the box and bag on the lower right.

View the grey box and add the round button to it. press it to start a puzzle.

Hint: this is a join the colors / flow puzzle. draw lines between the pairs of colors without crossing each other.

Collect the 'Hair Spray'

Go back to Snow 2 and tap to view the rock in the center of the ground. (snow on top)

Use the hairspray and then also the lighter on it to melt the snow.

Collect the 'Stone'.

Now tap on the tree below the tree house on the left.

Use the ground nails on the tree and then the Stone to hammer them in.

You can now access the tree house.

First view the window on the right and collect a corkscrew from the sill.

Note the Fish skeletons. The bones are a clue.

Now tap the large ball on the right and move it away to find a hatch with a small hole.

Use the corkscrew on the hole and then lift the hatch.

Object: Mirror, book bottom right.

Collect a sucker arrow.

You can also read an IOU note clue.

Exit the tree house and go back into the first main house.

View the top bed again and use the clue above to open the brown box.

Hint: the clue is the fish

Collect a 'Syringe'.

Go back to the tree house.

Tap to view the first aid box on the left.

Use the key to open it and collect some tweezers from the left.

Then use the syringe on the bottle on the right to fill it with anesthetic

You can also examine the picture on the bench below the box.

Tap to view the green desk at the back left of the room. When you do so an object will fall down.

Tap the gap at the back to see some twine. Use the tweezers to collect it.

Then tap to collect a 'Board' from the left of the desk.

Tap to view the head of the bed.

Collect from the top the 'wooden sleeper'

Now place this sleeper in the floor to the left and then use the board on this to lift the bed.

Collect another 'Broken inlay'.

Combine the 2 pieces of broken inlay to get an Inlay

Go back to the green desk and use the Inlay on the drawer to open it.

Collect 'Scotch Tape'

Now go back to the main house.

On the back wall (center) is a crossbow. View this

Add to it the Twine, Sucker dart, Syringe and the Scotch tape.

You can now collect the Crossbow with anesthetic needle.

Go back to snow 2 and use this on the Polar bear. It will go to sleep.

You can now move to the next area. Snow 3

In the distance on the ground is a small statue. View this and collect it. Note the skis

Then on the bottom right of the area is a squarish rock, view this and place the statue on top.

You can then collect a blue 'Slider'

Also collect the 'Rubble' from the ground.

On the tree on the right you can collect a half a pair of scissors.

On the left is a bag hanging from a stump. This has a combination lock.

Hint: The symbols match those from a clue above

Collect a 'Wire coil' which also gives you a needle

Now tap on the tent to view a padlock.

Use the needle to pick this.

In the tent examine the Proof of Donation letter on the right.

Collect from the sleeping bag a 'wooden fork'.

On the bottom right tap to open the red pouch. From inside collect the 'Cuff'

Tap the clothes on the left to find a puzzle box.

Add the red button and then solve the puzzle.

The buttons will make all of the red sliders move in that direction. You need to arrange the sliders into the correct location to match the grey pictures. When the correct slider is in place it will lock.

Collect the second 'half a pair of scissors'.

Also collect form underneath the sticky note clue.

Combine the Wooden fork with the cuff and the rubble to make a slingshot.

Also combine the 2 halves of scissors to make the scissors.

On the top of the tree on the right is a nest. Use the slingshot to bring it down and collect a 'Fish hook'.

Combine the fish hook with the wire coil.

Go back to the previous area.

Tap to view the bottom right to see a branch hanging out with an item on it.

Use the fish hook with string to collect the 'Holder'

Now enter the tree house.

On the central pillar is a box with a puzzle.

Add the blue slider to it and then solve the puzzle.

Move the sliders around the board to place them in the correct shapes.

Collect the 'snow shoes'. Use the scissors on the bag to collect a 'Relief'

Now go back to the first area and into the house. View the cabinet again and tap on the box on the left.

Use the relief on the box.

Collect the 'ski poles'.

Now go to the Snow 3 area and view the skis in the distance again.

Add the holder, the snow shoes and the ski poles.

You now play a mini game to get to the next section.

Use the left and right buttons to navigate and avoid the obstacles to get to then end,

Object: During the game there will be a point where a mirror will appear in one of the lanes, make sure to hit it to collect it.
