Hints and Tips

Here are a collection of general hints and tips that will be useful throughout the game.

While it is difficult to create a walkthrough for this whole game due to the changing nature of the maps and also the fact we will all take a different upgrade path for our weapons, we can offer some general hints and tips - And here they are!

1) Scan the map for the best path

You can make a big difference in a lot of maps by making the enemy take the longest route in each map. Some maps you can't employ this technique but for some you can place your towers in strategic locations to block certain paths to make your enemy go the long way round.

2) Altering Paths

If you are playing a map which allows the placement of boulders you can experiment with their placement quite cheaply to create extra long paths for the enemy, for example, you place the boulders in such a way that the enemies have to take the longest path, then you delete on the boulders and place another one the way of the existing route - the enemy will then have to double back on themselves and have more time to battle against your arsenal.

3) Choose your weapons and upgrade them

Work out quickly what your staple weapons will be and try to max them out. For me it's the mortar and the air guard. I prefer to have one that target the land enemies and another that targets the air enemies.
