How to Rally the Death Sandworm

Last Updated:

The Death Sandworm in Age of Colossus is a boss type enemy that appears in random locations around the world map. It will spawn in many locations and there will almost always be one not far from you. Killing the sandworm will give good rewards but only for the first kill you make each day.

The Death Sandworm will appear at various levels of difficulty, with better rewards for the higher levels, similar to the other AI enemies. However only at levels 1, 5, 10 ,15, 20 and 25. You can attack any level of Sandworm but you only get the rewards if your rally makes the final killing blow against him and tackling the Sandworm above level 1 will take well equipped formations. So you must consider your level when choosing a target. You can run multiple rallies one after the other to damage the target though if needed.

Requirements to Rally

If you want to have a successful rally you need to make sure that the following apply:

- You need to be in an alliance so that you can get other members to join your rally against the giant.

- To start or to join a rally you must have built the Rally Command Post. This building is unlocked when you reach base level 8.

- The rally must contain at least 2 formations. 1 other alliance member must join the rally AND their troops must be able to reach you before the rally timer runs out. When you start the rally you must pick a ready time to give your friends time to join. It must be long enough for them to join up and include the time it takes for their troops to march from their base to yours. If the time runs out before they reach you, the rally will be cancelled.

- Finally the Death Sandworm that you are attacking must still be there when the rally starts. The enemy detail screen will give the refresh time which is the amount of time left before it will disappear. You need to set a rally ready time shorter than this.
