Yggdrasil the Origin is an Idle-RPG where you can collect heroes with various types and abilities and create ideal parties to tackle various challenges in the game. In our Hero Type Battle Bonuses guide, we will discuss the different hero type-related battle effects you can activate to further improve your team’s combat efficiency.

Heroes are divided into three types: Strength, Agility, and Intelligence. Different hero classes will be under these types, which we will also list below. These attributes are permanent and cannot be modified or removed. At the same time, hero types will also help determine which bonus battle effects will be activated at the start of the battle or during battle.

Hero Type Hero Classes under the Type
Strength Tank, Fighter
Agility Ranger, Assassin
Intelligence Mage, Warlock, Priest, Sorcerer

Hero Type Battle Bonus is a feature that allows you to manually set an effect that will be applied during battle, depending on the type of the deployed heroes on the field. Only one bonus effect can be active at a time but you can freely swap and activate these effects without any cost so try out the effects that you think will work perfectly with your team composition and synergy.

Hero Type Battle Effects

You can find these bonus effects in the lower-right corner of the Team Formation screen. Simply tap on the hero type icon to view the active effects. These bonus effects will become available for selection after reaching the required number of deployed heroes with the same type.

Hero Type Battle Effects

Take note that the type will only matter to these effects. So for example, you have two Strength-type heroes on the field - 1 Tank, 1 Fighter/ 2 Fighters / 2 Tanks, their first bonus effect will become available for activation. (If you have four heroes with the same type in the same team, the second (and better) effect will become available for activation.) You can choose whether you want to activate the Fighter or Tank’s bonus effect, as listed below:

* Fighter: At the start of battle, ignore 30% enemy defense and gain 200 energy every 10 second)

* Tank: At the start of battle, gain 20% DMG Reduction, reduces 4% every 4 seconds

Heroes belonging to the Immortal Visitors faction have two types so they’ll provide more flexibility in the party.

Deploy 4 When the battle starts, ignore 30% of the enemies DEF and gain 200 Energy every second for 10 seconds.**
