Yggdrasil the Origin is an Idle-RPG where you can collect heroes with various types and abilities and create ideal parties to tackle various challenges in the game. The game has a lot of heroes that you can possibly recruit, each with their own strengths and affiliation. In our Faction List, we will discuss how a hero’s faction affects the overall gameplay and how you can use this information to your advantage.

Overview

Each hero belongs to a particular faction. This attribute is permanent and cannot be modified or removed. Factions directly affect combat through a system that’s very similar to rock-paper-scissors where a faction can deal higher damage to another faction they’re strong against. To make it easier to explain, please refer to the diagram below. We can say that the Scavenger faction deals 15% more damage when attacking the Dryad faction. At the same time, Celestial and Underworld factions are strong against one another so they’ll inflict bonus damage when attacking each other.

You can review the heroes listed in this page by accessing the Hero menu then tapping the Overview tab in the bottom. This will allow you to get a preview of all heroes and their skills, even those you haven’t obtained yet.

Immortal Visitor Heroes

This category consists of a special type of heroes. This faction doesn’t have any faction weakness or damage bonus. At the same time, all heroes under this faction have two hero types instead of the normal one type.
