How can you collect multiple butterflies on each word guess?
It might have something to do with how many butterflies are glowing and flapping. Hold on to the last letter of your word and wait for it to glow?
I've tried several theories...I've run out of theories to try. Currently, my conclusion is there's no rhyme or reason. Here's what I've tried:
-Solving words where the butterfly sits on a vowel
-Solving where the butterfly is on a consonant
-Solving words at the top, then next solving at the bottom, or vice versa
-Solving for butterflies facing left, then solving for ones facing right
-Solving longer words
-Solving shorter words
All the butterflies flap their wings and are lit up the same...so I don't think it has anything to do with a special butterfly. Who knows...
Finally got it. Its the butterfly at the highest point on the board
From what I gather. If you get a butterfly, it will add the rest of the letter the butterfly was on to the board. If there are butterflies on the same letter of the first one then you will get those too.
I've solved level 27-9 6 times. It says I've solved level 27-4 and will not progress forward. No credit for passing 27-9
What appears to work is to complete the word with the most blanks at the start. (For example, it is better to complete a 4 letter word with 3 blank letters than a six letter word with only two blank letters). Use this strategy to start, but change to fewer blanks once you have enough multiples. Otherwise, you can complete the entire puzzle without getting enough butterfiles.
I sent a note to [email protected] asking how butterflies are collected they responded.
"Thanks for your feedback. There are no exact rules yet, and butterflies are flying randomly. We'll keep optimizing Butterflies gameplay."
sigh...
I think it has something to do with getting multiple letters needed in the butterfly words by trying to predict given what's there, but I am not clear on it.
