Word Crossy is frozen what can I do?

My game was frozen too for months. I kept playing the same puzzle over and over..even after I got all the words solved. It would advance..but it was just to the puzzle I had already solved. I finally got tired of it not advancing to a new set of letters that I ended up figuring out go w to uninstall the game and the installing it again a few days later. No problem reinstalling it but I lost all my coins..score and points. The new one is altogether different than the version I was playing before that got stuck. Hope this info helps.
