Why after 1000 or so games does the piggy bank fill up super quick but I still have to wait 12 hours to get a measly 50 coins? I could pay but I don't wanna ....

The game only exists because some are willing to pay to help the developer afford to continue running it. The option to not pay is there of course and its up to you whether you pay for coins or collect them through in game rewards but it is in the developers interest to make it easy to pay for items and harder to earn them for free. This is true of all free games and without it there would not be free games to play.
