How is the scoring calculated?
The scoring is kind of convoluted; as far as I have figured it works like this:
1 point for each square in a block as it is PLACED on the board(3x3 block =9 points)
1 point of each square as it is ELIMINATED from the board(1 row =10pts. 1row and 1 column simultaneously = 19 pts)
Bonus points:
If you eliminate 3 or more rows and/or columns simultaneously, you get the points for the cleared squares plus a bonus.
3 Lines Bonus: double your standard scoring plus an extra point for each square in the block that you played.
4 Lines Bonus: double standard score plus DOUBLE points for the squares in the block you played
5 Lines Bonus: 200 points plus TRIPLE points for the squares in the piece you just played
I’ve only gotten 6 Lines once and I didn’t keep track of the scoring.
I can tell you what it is in Woody Battle. Not sure if it's the same as in the original Woody Puzzle (but it's basically the same game so probably). I tried it multiple times and it works.
Base score is 1 point for every individual block placed and 10 points for every row/column cleared (not 1 point for every block cleared, so clearing a 1 row/1 column combo is 20 points, not 19). 2 line combo has no bonus, 3 line combo gives you base score x 2, 4 line combo is base score x 3, 5 line combo is base score x 4, and 6 line combo is base score x 5.
