How do you use a mountaineer’s bag to create more slots for forges equipment?

Go to Blacksmith > Forge > Equipment & Inlay... scroll down. If you have a Mountaneer's Bag, there will be a way to "tap to unlock more Inventory Space", or spend gold to do so
