Vampire Survivors: How to Unlock Adventure Mode
Vampire Survivors' base game is quite addictive and has tons of replayability. Adventure Mode is another way of enticing players to sink more hours into the game by offering separate story modes with various limitations and differences. In this article, we will talk about Adventure Mode, how to unlock it, and what are the notable features of this mode.

What is Vampire Survivor's Adventure Mode
These are self-contained stories separated from the main game. Only the unlocked relics and Arcana cards are carried over to Adventure mode stories so you have to unlock characters and purchase power-ups from scratch. Since some relics enable stage modifiers, if you have them unlocked on your base game, your adventure stages will also have the option to toggle Hyper, Hurry, Arcanas, music selection, and Limit Break options to name a few.
Adventure mode is not available in the mobile versions of the game. In other versions of the game, this mode needs to be unlocked by obtaining a specific relic.

How to unlock Adventure Mode
- First, you need to obtain the Yellow Sign first. Please follow the link for more information.
- Next, you have to unlock the Boss Rash stage by enabling Hyper Mode on all standard stages. (Mad Forest, Inlaid Library, Dairy Plant, Gallo Tower, and Cappella Magna)
- Once you have Boss Rash unlock, you need to survive for 7 minutes and the Atlas Gate relic will appear in the middle of the stage. Simply pick it up and either survive further until you clear the stage or quit the match. Once you go back to the main menu, the big green Adventure button will be displayed.

No Cheat Menu
Even if you unlocked the Secrets (cheat menu) in the base game, you won't have access to it from any of the adventure screens. However, you can use the cheat menu in the base game to get additional arcana cards and relics then switch over to Adventure mode to use them.
Preset weapons
Adventure mode stories only have a limited set of weapons as well. The base weapons (and their evolved forms if available) are displayed in the Collection of the adventure's main menu once you pick them up.

Starting Funds
Each adventure mode stage has a set amount of starting funds that you can use for power-ups to make your first foray in the mode with a bit of ease. These funds are counted separately for each mode and there's no way to combine or transfer them between adventure modes.
Unlockable characters
Each adventure will have a default hero to start with. The other pre-selected characters need to be unlocked by meeting their specific requirements then purchased using gold coins.

Buying Power-Ups again
As mentioned before, Adventure mode is a separate game mode so you still need to purchase power ups. Generally, you'll want to prioritize the following then select the other succeeding power ups as you please.
- Defang - 3% of enemies spawn unable to deal damage per rank (max 15%)
- Recovery - passive HP recovery
- Might - Increases damage output
- Cooldown - Faster weapon usage/activation
- Growth - Increases EXP gain
- Greed - Increases gold gain
What are the Adventure Mode Stages
Currently there are three adventure stories to choose from:
- A Garlic Paradise
- World of Light and Dark
- Legacy of the Moonspell
They'll become available once you unlock the Adventure Mode option itself, though the Legacy of the Moonspell adventure requires the DLC of the same time to be purchased before you can play it. You can play these adventure stages in any order you please and you can freely have individual progress on them without hindering the other.
