Vampire Survivors: All Unlockable Standard Characters
Vampire Survivors has a wide variety of characters to choose from, with their own set of starting weapons and abilities. The base game's large roster is further bolstered by new characters from the two new DLCs. In this article, we will list down all unlockable standard characters in the game as well as the conditions for unlocking them.
We will keep a separate list for DLC and secret characters as they'll require more details.
How to Unlock Characters
Aside from the starting characters, new characters can be unlocked by meeting certain requirements. You can find these requirements in the Unlocks menu found in the game's Main Menu. These unlock requirements vary like upgrading certain weapons to a specific level, surviving x minutes on a stage, picking up specific items, and so on.
After unlocking the character, you still need to spend gold to purchase them. The cost of characters will increase by 10% for every character purchased. There is currently 58 playable characters in the game; 16 of which are DLC characters and 16 are secret characters that require very specific conditions to unlock.
Unlockable Standard Characters
- Arca: Upgrade Fire Wand to LV4.
- Porta: Upgrade Lighting Ring to LV4.
- Lama: Survive 20 minutes with at least 10% curse.
- Poe: Upgrade Garlic to LV7.
- Clerici: Recover a total of 1,000 HP across all runs.
- Dommario: Earn 5,000 coins in a single run. Achievable only with the help of gold-boosting buffs and surviving far later in a run (around 20+ minutes).
- Krochi: Defeat a total of 100,000 enemies across all runs. Just play the game regularly and you'll eventually unlock him.
- Christine: Upgrade Pentagram to LV7. This is a bit tricky since Pentagram is super powerful and will erase everything, including precious items and experience gems within the vicinity at the time of activation. You need to have a dedicated run focusing on getting Pentagram and weapon cooldown upgrades to meet this condition.
- Pugnala: Find and open the coffin in the Mad Forest map by clearing all enemies around it. If you have the Milky Way map unlocked, the coffin's location will show as a question mark (?). It will be ideal to make your way there as early as possible while leveling up along the way.
- Giovanna: Find and open the coffin in the Inlaid Library map by clearing all enemies around it. If you have the Milky Way map unlocked, the coffin's location will show as a question mark (?). It will be ideal to make your way there as early as possible while leveling up along the way.
- Poppea: Find and open the coffin in the Dairy Plant map by clearing all enemies around it. If you have the Milky Way map unlocked, the coffin's location will show as a question mark (?). It will be ideal to make your way there as early as possible while leveling up along the way.
- Concetta: Find and open the coffin in the Gallo Tower map. Unlike the other coffins so far, Concetta's coffin is found in a hidden room. To reach it, you must enter a mirror on the left side of the tower, near the coffin.
- Mortaccio: Defeat a total of 3,000 skeletons.
- Yatta Cavallo: Defeat a total of 3,000 Lion Heads (Inlaid Library map)
- Bianca Ramba: Defeat a total of 3,000 Milk Elementals (Dairy Plant map)
- OâSole Meeo: Defeat a total of 3,000 Dragon Shrimps (Gallo Tower map)
- Sir Ambrojoe: Defeat 6,000 Stage Killers (Cappella Magna map)
- Iguana Gallo Valletto: Unlock by obtaining the Infinite Corridor. This is an evolution of the Clock Lancet weapon which requires having the Silver Ring and Gold Ring both at max levels.
- Divano Thelma: Unlock by obtaining the Crimson Shroud. This is an evolution of the Laurel, which requires Metaglio Left and Metaglio Right both maxed out. The two Metaglios are stage items that you have to collect while exploring the map in order to acquire them.
- ZiâAssunta Belpahese: Find and open the coffin in the Cappella Magna map by clearing all enemies around it. If you have the Milky Way map unlocked, the coffin's location will show as a question mark (?).
- Queen Sigma: Complete the collection. You may need to enter a run then quit immediately for the unlock completion to register and unlock this character.
- She-Moon Eeta: Survive 20 minutes in Whiteout. Whiteout is a third bonus stage in the game which is unlocked by collecting 20 Orologions. Orologions are one of the uncommon pickups that can drop from destroying light sources after your character reaches LV4 in a session. The chances of getting this specific pickup item is affected by the Luck stat. Picking up one Orologion for the first time unlocks the Clock Lancet weapon. You need 20 to unlock the bonus stage Whiteout.
