Level 17 Walkthrough

This is a walkthrough for Level 17 of The Vault: Logic Puzzle Box, a challenging safe opening puzzle game from Peaksel Games.

After collecting the artifact in Level 16 you now move on to the next safe to open.

Level 17 Walkthrough

First turn to the right of the safe, In the small window here you will see five Roman numerals. This is a clue for later.

Next turn to the back of the safe. At the top is a box with a clock hand that you can spin around.

Card Symbols Puzzle

• Above this is a display of four card suit symbols.
• As you turn the hand it will pass the four numbers and this will cause a tile to turn below and display one of two symbols.
• Each time you pass the number the related tile will switch.
• Change all of the tiles so that the four at the bottom match the four at the top.

Solution:

Collect the Rotary Lever.

Now look on the lower left. Add the rotary handle to the spindle. Then move the handle to open a hatch on the right.

Collect the Weight.

Turn to the left of the safe and view the left side of the small window. You can place the weight on a hook here.

This will open the curtain and reveal a four digit code.

Turn to the front of the safe and view a rotary phone dial at the bottom.

Using the code from above turn the dial to enter the four numbers.

Collect the Key.

Next view a keyhole just above the rotary dial. Use the key here.

This reveals four buttons with roman numerals.

Tap the buttons in the correct order according to a clue seen previously.

You will now see 4 rings on the column on the right start to move.

Position each ring so that the gaps line up.

Each ring will start to move again shortly after you position it so you need to be quick and careful.

When they are aligned you can collect the Lever from inside.

Turn to the right of the safe again and view the bottom section where there is already one lever.

Add the second lever and pull them both down t see a time clue.

Turn to the front of the safe and view the clock in the center.

Set the time on the clock to the time seen in the clue.

There are now handles above and below the clock. Spin the handles to open the safe.

Collect the Time Capsule artifact.

Move on to Level 18.
