The tutorial states, stars may be cleared vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. However, when I am stuck without a move, the game recommends moves for me. Some of the moves it recommends I do not understand. They are diagonal moves but nowhere near each other. How can I calculate diagonal moves when they are not in adjacent boxes?

They should be a straight line diagonally. Or they can also be in a sequence of the last number in a line and the first number in the next line in order from left to right.
