Bonfire

The Bonfire is the first structure you will probably build. It is very important early on since it is used to cook the fish you catch from fishing. Later on when you are possibly loaded with cooked fish or have a surplus of other types of food, it can be used to craft other things like bricks, smoked lobster, sand, clay, but most notably, coal which is used in a lot of other crafts.

Raincatcher

The Raincatcher is another important structure that is used to gather drinking water for your survival. It takes empty plastic bottles as materials to fill them up and turn into filled bottles. Late game, it will most likely be filled to the max with bottles (both filled and empty ones) meaning you will probably never run out of drinking water.

Torchlight

An early game structure that isn't important currently other than illuminating the area at night although even without the Torchlight, it isn't really dark and even the thin floating materials like Thatch and Cloth can be easily seen. It will probably hold a more significant part to play in later updates.

Raft Original Survival Tip: It is important to build one only because it is part of the tutorial quests that tell you to build structures, stations, tools, etc. After building the Torchlight, you may opt to destroy it to free up space or just keep it since it does provide a nice light and if they suddenly implement it, at least you already have one and not scramble to find empty space for it.

Furnace

The furnace is another important crafting station that is used to craft Ore, Metal Bar, Nails, Rivets, Electrical Contacts, Burnt Stone, Glass, and Metal Plates. Ore in particular is useful because it essentially opens other crafting items like another important material, the Metal Bar which in turn is used to craft Nails, Rivets, and Metal Plates.

Raft Original Survival Tip: All of the items related to the furnace are crafted with Coal so we recommend that you save up on a lot of those.

Crafting Table

The Crafting Table is used to turn the basic material Wooden Board into Treated Board. You can also find treated boards rarely during scavenging barrels, boxes, or other containers on islands, etc.

The other items, Sail, Mast, Rudder, and Hull, seem to be parts of making a better boat or ship but so far, at the time of writing, has no purpose yet. We suspect that it may be used to properly escape.

Loom

The Loom is a station for processing all the cloth you have probably been gathering. It is used to make Processed Fabric, Rope, Canvas, Net, and to make more cloth from excess Thatch you have. Most of the items here are useful especially the Net and Rope.

They are used for crafting probably the best food source in the game, the Lobster Trap. And also the processed fabric required for the other crafted items.

Work Station

The Work Station is another crafting station that creates seemingly useful stuff but at the time of writing, the items don't serve any purpose.

Raft Original Survival: To ensure that you will get the items, once implemented, we recommend that you have this work station crafted already.

Chemical Table

The Chemical Table is a station that supposedly breaks down some items to revert them to their previous states (probably something like Processed Fabric back to Cloth). However one of the components to make this, Mortar & Pestle, is nowhere to be found in-game. It is either incredibly rare or simply not implemented yet.
