Help! Collecting long chains of pigs no longer gives me cow? What's gone wrong please?

Have you looked at what pigs you have selected? There are certain species that give you vegetables when collecting longs chains. Alternatively, you can long click on a pig before collecting, it should show you, how long your chain has to be. Depending on your selected species and village maybe your chains aren't long enough
