3. Recycle!

Once you gain access to the Forge, selling off old kit or loot is really a bad idea. Why? Well we will tell you why!

With your Forge access you can take those old bits of tech and combine them to make new tech - often with results that are better than anything you can buy off-the-shelf at the store!

Taking care to examine the info screens on the data cards for kit - and for ships - can often lead you to desirable recipes, allowing you to upgrade the protection in terms of armor for each turret or even the entire ship (though in the latter case that will mean stripping down the ship and sinificant down-time in terms of a lengthy timer to wait out).

Still in the end it is usually worth it.
